This story is a semi-autobiographical comedy.
As a child, my summers in Switzerland were spent navigating a strict language barrier with my grandparents, enduring grueling hikes, and constantly tripping over my own feet.
I intentionally chose to steer away from overly sentimental tropes to embrace an energetic, slightly cheeky sense of humor. Children are incredibly resilient, and they connect deeply with stories that don’t sugarcoat reality. By laughing at a lost ice cream and outsmarting cheeky ladybugs, this book celebrates the clumsy, fierce determination it takes to build your own tray-armor, dust yourself off, and face the next challenge.

Spread 8: Action and irony collide. The bear takes flight along with his ice cream, while the miniature villains celebrate their victory from above, setting the stage for our hero's resilient comeback.

Opening the book, the front endpapers display an attractive double-page pattern composed of the characters signature belongings and accessories, hinting at the adventures to come.

Concluding the book, the back endpapers feature a dynamic pattern of polaroid snapshots showing the characters. Left as black-and-white outlines, this spread acts as an engaging, interactive activity page for children to color.
